Qui-Gon Jinn is a member of Section I: Jedi. He is currently a Justice in the UPC Supreme Court, due to his wisdom. He is also serving in the House of Reps as a Representative from his section. Jinn holds Class B Security Clearance because he is a Supreme Court Justice.

Qui-Gon Jinn is a Master in the Jedi Order. Though he has been considered for the Jedi High Council numerous times, he has never been a member. Qui-Gon Jinn was trained by former Jedi Master Dooku, who is now a Sith Lord. Jinn trained Obi-Wan Kenobi and Nichos Aplina to knighthood, though they are both Masters now. He also trained Jedi Knights Feemor and Xanatos. When the Clone Wars came, Qui-Gon Jinn joined the group of Jedi who were asked not to serve in the Clone Wars, but continue to go on missions not directly involving the Separatists or the War. Other Jedi to join this group were Yaddle and Yarael Poof. However, after joining the UPC, he has taken a more active role in the War. His primary weapon is a green-bladed lightsaber. Jinn is the Master of Ataru in the Master Swordsman, and the elderly Dragon Rider Oromis's mentor in the area of lightsaber combat.

Qui-Gon Jinn is currently serving as the Presidency Assistant or "Assistant" of the Magic/Powers Council, representing the members of his section (in other
words, all of them) who have magic or powers. He holds the force, and is serving in the Council with Jedi Master Plo Koon, who is also from his section.
Army[]
Though Qui-Gon Jinn was formerly a Chief Lieutenant of the Jedi Army, he has since been promoted to the rank of Captain, holding one of 6 highest positions in the Jedi Army. Jinn works directly under Commander Agen Kolar, co-works with Captain Luminara Unduli, and is the direct commanding officer of Chief Lieutenant Saba Sebatyne and and Lieutenant Cin Drallig.
