Plo Koon is secretary of Section I: Jedi. Plo Koon is the former Organization Council Treasurer and was also elected as Treasurer in the first and third elections of the Organization Council Presidency and President in the second. In the most recent election, though, he made it to Vice President. He was considered for a place on the UPC Supreme Court, but was disallowed when a proposition came through disallowing UPC Presidency Members, OC Presidency Members, and Senators from becoming Supreme Court Justices. Koon was added to this section as one of the three males from the Jedi High Council. Koon was the Presidency Assistant of the UPC Government Council. Koon has Class A Security Clearance because he was appointed by Aslan to retain his Class A clearance from his time as a member of the Government Council.

Plo Koon is a member of the Jedi High Council, one of the twelve highest positions in the Jedi Order. He is a member of the Master Swordsman, and his primary weapon is a blue-bladed lightsaber. He has the rank of Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Republic, and is currently serving in the Clone Wars. Koon was trained by Jedi Master Tyvokka, and trained Bultar Swan to the level of Knighthood, though he only taught her for half of her time as an apprentice. He also taught the Trandoshan Jedi Knight Lissarkh, and is the uncle of Sha Koon, and the nephew of Do Koon. Koon is also the Roman half-blood Jason Grace's lightsaber combat mentor.

Koon is the President of the Magic/Powers Council, representing Section 1 with Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. He is
also a member of the Foreign Species Council 2, where he is representing the Kel Dor Species.
Army[]
Plo Koon is currently a Successive Commander in the Jedi Army. He was formerly just a Commander, but when Obi-Wan Kenobi was promoted, Plo Koon was chosen by Kenobi to be successive. Koon works directly under Grand General Obi-Wan Kenobi, co-works with Commander Agen Kolar, and is the direct commanding officer of Chief Captain Kit Fisto and Captain Ki-Adi-Mundi.
